The small file size is one of my favorite features in the application. I haven’t seen any Dropbox integration within the application, though. You can share files with a link, or you can copy its URL, but the application itself doesn’t offer to create a cloud document. I’ve often thought it would be great to have that capability, especially since Photoshop CS4 or CS5 is often used with Dropbox, or perhaps even YouTube, to distribute content. There are several download server sizes from which to choose. The size of the image file is also available, in fact. File sizes are quite small. In fact, I was able to create a very large number of JPEGs, which resulted in very small file sizes, but they all loaded quickly, even if you make JPEGs large (we’ll get to that later). I selected the free version Yomra (“the cycle”) and it created a 20 MB collection of web-ready images.

Nice Review, I am an early adopter of Lightroom 4 which is still my main processing tool. It will be interesting to see what the new features are as I’ve found most of the improvements in Lightroom v6. I don’t understand why some software gets a 30,000% improvement in this class of software and other software gets a 10% improvement (incremental means for year?), but each release seems to have some huge feature and if you have to select one piece of software, then you’d select Lightroom. I’m very interested to see how the new versions of the types of features I use like Puppet Warp/Merge/Warp Tools. I’m also curious about the new capabilities like the grep filter—I find that feature useful. I guess in order to just as not be a huge fanboy I won’t be purchasing the new version.

Gradient Overlay – Used to blend a gradient over an image or video in a sequential or non-sequential manner. See the three default gradient options: Linear, Radial, and Radial 2 filled with gradient overlays.

Pattern Overlay – Choose from a selection of pre-loaded patterns, or create your own custom patterns to add a unique look to an image or video. Alternatively, use the reverse edge effect that’s included as a preset. The pattern overlay is overlaid on the top layer in a set of three default options: None, Gradient Overlay and Reverse Edge.

Video Preview – Preview your project with the use of the Page Thumbnails, the Slide Deck and Slideshow, along with a Slide Show Preview option that allows you to preview your slideshow with audio and transitions.

Zoom Tool – Change the zoom level of your image to reveal more of your composition or to retract the viewfinder to straighten out any composition. The “Zoom” tool is one of the most powerful tools in Photoshop — you can literally zoom into and out of any element on any layer in a single click.

Illustrations Tool – Utilize the Illustrations Tool to add multimedia to a text-based document or interact with a scene. The Illustration Tool allows you to manipulate Adobe Illustrator documents, add text and objects, and set a wide range of different effects and blending options to play with.

Text Tool – The Text Tool includes more than 50 brush styles that allow you to edit text and vectors, along with creative tools to apply special effects, such as distortions, shadows, textures and more. Integrate with Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator.
